Let's defend the Truth

The Mystery of the Baby Jesus of the New Jerusalem, is a well-defined Project of God, which began in 1947 with the manifestation of the Baby Jesus to Giuseppina Norcia, at that time a girl of 7 years. It’s a unique Project, decisive, eternal. The universality of the salvific plan of God finds complete fulfilment in this Mystery.

This Mystery, Centre of the infinite mercy of God, invites us to defend the heart of God’s manifestation in the history: the family.

Jesus and Mary, with St. Joseph, occur several times in the life story of Giuseppina, and are for all of us the sign that vigorously spurs us to defend the Holy Family. Jesus and Mary: Mother and Son, sign of the highest expression of God in history, united in the bond of family unity, to fill with love and to defend the authentic model of union wanted by God.

While waiting for the fulfilment of the promises of the Father, everything is done in the recapitulation of what had been created by God the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth, since the outset. “God created man in his own image, in the image of God, He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them and said to them: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky and over every living being that moves upon the earth” (Gen 1, 27-28). Family that is based on the union between a man and a woman, indissoluble union, eternal. “At the beginning of creation God made them male and female; for this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and the two shall become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Let not man separate what God has joined together”. (Mk 10, 6-9). The Creator does not admit other forms of union: “If a man has intercourse with a man as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them” (Lev 20,13). And St. Paul, the Apostle of the Gentiles, states: “Do not be deceived: neither fornicators … nor homosexuals, nor sodomites … will inherit the kingdom of God“. (1 Cor 6,9b-10). The family has always been at the centre of the original Project of the Father. So it is in the creation; so it is in the Holy Family of Nazareth, which marked the beginning of redemption; so it is and will be in the recapitulation of all things, the fulfilment of everything.

Even the life of the Mystery of the Baby Jesus focuses on the family. Baby Jesus descends from Heaven and is welcomed by a maiden that consecrates herself to God, through the Will of God, in the family. On the commemorative stone tablet exposed on the little Chapel of Giuseppina, is written: “Jesus wants her first Bride and then Mother”.

Even Samuele is called by God to live the Mystery of the Baby Jesus of the New Jerusalem, first as a husband and then as a family man. The family, the fundamental cell of God’s creation, in these recent times, strongly returns to be the fundamental theme of the Project of God that, in these hard and difficult times, is manifested and fulfilled.

The Mystery of the Baby Jesus is from God. The origin of this Mystery is divine. This is told by God and witnessed by the hundreds of thousands of people, throughout the story of this Mystery, that have firsthand experienced His living presence, that is manifested in His Tools and supernatural signs, such as corporal and spiritual healing. In this regard, Mons. E.C. writes: “Confidence in Giuseppina’s mission is due to the spiritual fruits that derive from it, as well as the persistent and growing influx to the «mystical cradle» of Gallinaro, where Baby Jesus instils confidence, soothes pain, radiates light, restores faith, peace and love that leads to profound and stable conversion“(Booklet “a Cradle for Baby Jesus in the Land of Gallinaro”, p. 11).

In other revelations, that many faithfuls have heard in a collection, through an audio recording broadcasted, Jesus says: “Do not doubt the reality of this place. If I chose Giuseppina in charge of this Mystery, it is to make the world understand that I don’t need learned and men of science. Learn from Her the example of modesty, humility and righteousness“. And again: “This is the hour of the called. Here, in the New Jerusalem, I operate spiritual and material wonders, as long as you believe in Me. The people that is forming among those called to Gallinaro, is a symbol of humanity loved by God. The testimony of the ancient prophecies, does not take us back to an outdated past, but will brighten-up your present. The voice of the prophets of the past, echoed by the voice of today’s prophets, calls us to the conversion, to the vigilance, to the attention, to the signs of the times“.

The bond between Giuseppina and Samuele is in God. She called to start the Mystery of God in the Holy Place wanted by God; He, promised and expected, called to bring it to fulfilment. The nature of this bond, if you believe the supernatural origin of the Mystery of the Baby Jesus of the New Jerusalem, is not only human, in the in-law mother-son relationship, but divine, as both are called by God to live and to make consist the divine Mystery in the hearts. Only by accepting the divinity of this Mystery, you can understand the nature of the bond between Giuseppina and Samuele. A human bond and at the same time, divine: both called to be part of God’s Project, as Father’s Tools. Only those who humanize the things of God do not understand the depth of this relationship. As the faithfuls of the Little Cradle well remind, Jesus says in a revelation made several years ago to Giuseppina: “As long as (men) do not stop measuring things … by the yardstick of the world, as long as they make projects with the things of God and as long as they make judgments, as long as they claim to work in My vineyard, without accepting My unfathomable Mystery, they risk to betray My person “(Catechesis of Jesus revealed to Giuseppina Norcia).

Who measures the things of God by the yardstick of men, making judgments, without grasping and accepting, with humility and love, the unfathomable Mystery, risk to betray the Person of Christ. And despite the betrayal, Christ does not abandon these children, as long as they repent and mend their ways. In this regard, in fact, Jesus says: “Well, it happens to many to feel ignored, misunderstood, not heard from Me that I keep silent. They feel the experience of their impotence, of their falls and I seem indifferent; after so many charisms bestowed, it seems that I do not help them anymore and it’s as if I choose to die again. Verily, it is them who must accept to die to themselves and it is the most painful trial, the one that could lead them to disown their God“. (Catechesis of Jesus revealed to Giuseppina Norcia).

Giuseppina has publicly expressed Her union with Samuele. She has never concealed or denied the call of Samuele as Her spiritual son God-given to Her. Many can testify all this. Giuseppina has testified to many that Samuele would have helped Her to bring this divine Mystery to completion. She has testified it both privately and publicly, in the spousal union of Her only daughter Anna, bride of Samuele. None of the faithful of the Baby Jesus will ever forget that August 4^th of the year 2002, when Giuseppina took the Baby Jesus, from the Crib where He was laying, and, through Anna, She handed Him to Samuele that raised and showed Him to all the people in celebration. Everyone understood and understands the significance of that gesture, of that passage of the Baby Jesus from the hands of Giuseppina to the hands of Samuele. In the subsequent years Giuseppina never doubted. She always confirmed and reiterated Her confidence in Samuele, to all those who came to Her to have confirmation, both with words and with deeds. Indeed, in the last years that preceded July 5^th, 2008, the day of the ascent to Heaven of Giuseppina, She increasingly reduced Her physical presence among the people to facilitate and encourage the meeting with Samuele, and finally prepare the people for His earthly guide in this great Mystery.

This is the testimony of all those who have given their lives for this divine Mystery. And this testimony is true and faithful.

The example of the life of Jesus and Mary must be defended from all the detractors and from those who, using that name, would want to separate and divide what God has joined. In the Holy Family of Nazareth, we find the highest expression of God in history, where God manifests himself as true God and true Man.

The manifestation of God in the family is the highest and unveiling point of the Project of God, that occurs in history, as in an interlacement: Child, Man; then Child again so that all people of good will may live Christ and worship Him in Spirit and Truth, awaiting to fully live Him in the eternal Life.

In Jesus and Mary, the divinity and the humanity consist and coexist. You cannot understand and defend Their Persons and Their teaching of life if you do not live at the same time the union of Their two natures: human and divine.

“The Spirit and the bride say: “Come!” Let those who hear this say: “Come!” Let those who are thirsty come! Let those who want the water of life take it as a gift”. (Rev 22,17)

Therefore, no man put asunder what God has joined together. (Mn 10,9)
