King David the corrupted, prophesies Jesus’ humiliation
A) The text of the speech by J.M.Bergoglio:
“Thus «the holy King David, sinner but holy, becomes corrupt». But here is that «Nathan the prophet sent by God», helped him to «understand what horrible thing he had done, a bad thing: because a corrupt man doesn’t realise it himself. It takes a special grace to change a corrupt heart». So «David, who still had a noble heart», admits he has sinned, «admits his guilt». And what does Nathan say?. Here are his words: «The Lord forgives your sin, but the corruption you have sown will grow. You killed an innocent man to cover your adultery. The sword shall never depart from your house». «God forgives his sin and David converts but the wounds of a corruption are difficult to heal. We see this in many parts of the world». «God inflicted a severe punishment to David: “The sword shall never depart from your house” », but «he defends his house and runs away, goes away». Is he perhaps «a coward? No, he’s a father». And «he let the ark comes back», he does not «use God, to defend himself». Therefore, David, «goes away to save his people: this is the path of holiness that David begins to pursue, after the moment he entered into corruption». The biblical passage presents David in the moment when he rises, crying, the slope of Olives. He had «his head covered» in sign of mourning, walking barefoot. He made penance. Also «all the people that were with him, the most intimate, had their head covered and were climbing while crying: the crying and the penance». The Scripture makes us also know that «some, who did not love him, began to follow and to insult him». Among them, there was Shimei, that calls him «sanguinary», reminding «the crime that he did with Uriah, the Hittite, to cover the adultery». Abishai, one of the people closest to David, «wants to defend him» and would want to behead Shimei to silence him. But David makes «a step further: “If this man is cursing, it is because the Lord told him: curse David!”». And «then he says to his servants: “Behold, the son came out of my bowels seeks my life”». He thinks, in fact, of his son Absalom. And thus he turns to his servants again: «Let this Ben’ja curse, because the Lord has commanded him so». The matter is that «David knows how to see the signs: it is the time of his humiliation, it is the moment in which he is paying his guilt». So much that he says: «Perhaps the Lord will look upon my affliction, and He will give me good in change of today’s curse». Essentially «he relies on the hands of the Lord: this is the path of David, from the time of his corruption to that of his entrustment in the hands of the Lord. And this is holiness. This is humility». “Humility can arrive to a heart only through humiliations: there can be no humility without humiliations». And «if you are not able to carry some humiliations in your life, you’re not humble. It is so: I would say so mathematical, so simple! ». Therefore, «the only way to humility is to be humble». So “the aim of David, that is holiness, is through humiliation». Even “the aim of holiness that God gives to his children, gives to the Church, is through the humiliation of his Son that allows himself to be unjustly insulted and put on the cross» And «this Son of God who has humiliated himself, is the way of holiness: David, with his behaviour, prophesies this humiliation of Jesus»” (Homily, Casa Santa Marta, February 1, 2016)

Bergoglio’s meditation is sensational. Bergoglio does not speak, as we might have and should have expected, about the true mercy of the Father that, in front of repentance and admission of having sinned made by King David, He forgives and restores him.
Bergoglio, starting from faraway, arrives in a deceitful and incredible manner to compare the failure of David (that because of this he humbled himself) to the Life of Jesus, speaking of the humiliation of the One that prophesies the humiliation of the Other. Bergoglio says: “David, with his attitude, prophesies this humiliation of Jesus“.
David did wrong, he repented, he asked for forgiveness and the Father confirmed him again in His calling, thereby manifesting the true mercy of the Father, that implies the admission of guilt and the consequent will to sin no more, that is totally different from the (false) mercy proposed by Bergoglio, that does not imply any kind of repentance or change of life from sinners.
Bergoglio then uses a long series of words to compare, at the end of his speech, the figure of David to that of Jesus. Not the King David, but David the sinner. David the “sinner, but holy”, the one who “becomes corrupt”. The holiness of David’s life totally for God, is not highlighted but the only blemish of a holy life. And Bergoglio, rages without pity in highlighting, above measure, the sin of David, stubbornly emphasizing David’s failure arriving, at the end of this doggedness, to compare the figure of David to that of Jesus, who never has sinned.
The spirit that is in Bergoglio, when dealing with the sacrifice of the Cross of Jesus, begins to squirm and tries to propose an interpretation that, instead of exalting the Holy Cross, always leads to themes such as the humiliation of Jesus, “the defeat” of Jesus, arriving up to blaspheming, explicitly and blatantly, as he did when he said that “Jesus, on the Cross, blasphemes? The mystery is this“; or when in a vile way he said “Jesus made himself like a snake, ugly to make you sick“.
The true children of God will never accept that Jesus is so meanly presented up to be despised in the moment of His sacrifice that has redeemed the world. The children of the Immaculate Mary will fight and unmask the spirit that is in Bergoglio to show the world of good will its true nature and the true paternity of that spirit, that is not from God, not from Christ, but is opposed to His Holy Cross.
