The family according to one’s own conscience

A)  The text of the speech by J.M.Bergoglio:

Question of the journalist Franca De Giansoldati of the newpaper “Il Messaggero”: “I return to the subject of the law that is about to be voted by the Italian Parliament: it is a law somehow related to other States because they also are evaluating laws regulating unions between persons of the same sex. There is a document of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, which dates back to 2003, which devotes extensive attention to this, and in addition devotes a chapter about the conduct that Catholic parliamentaries should have in Parliament in front of these laws, other than say specifically that Catholic lawmakers should not vote these laws. Since there is much confusion about this, I wanted to ask whether this 2003 document has still a value, and indeed, how a Catholic parliamentary must behave?”
Answer of Bergoglio: Regarding the first topic: I don’t remember very well the 2003 document of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. But a Catholic in Parliament must vote according to his or her well-formed conscience: this, I would say only this. I think that is enough. I say “well-formed” because the conscience is not “whatever I think”. I remember when same-sex marriage was voted on in Buenos Aires, there was a vote, and at the end one said to the other: “Do you see it clearly?” — “No” — “Me neither” — “Let’s leave” — “If we go we won’t reach a quorum”. And the other said: “But if we reach a quorum, we’ll give the vote to Kirchner!”, and the other: “I would rather give the vote to Kirchner than to Bergoglio!”, and so forth. This is not a well-formed conscience! And regarding people of the same sex, I repeat what I said on the return trip from Rio de Janeiro, and what is in the Catechism of the Catholic Church” (In-flight press conference – from Mexico to Rome – Papal Flight Wednesday, 17 February 2016)

B) References to Scriptures:

God created man in the image of himself, in the image of God he created him, male and female he created them” (Gen 1:27)

You will not have intercourse with a man as you would with a woman. This is a hateful thing” (Lev 18:22)

It has also been said, Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a writ of dismissal. But I say this to you, everyone who divorces his wife, except for the case of an illicit marriage, makes her an adulteress; and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery” (Mat 5:31-32)

Do you not realise that people who do evil will never inherit the kingdom of God? Make no mistake the sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, the self-indulgent, sodomites, thieves, misers, drunkards, slanderers and swindlers, none of these will inherit the kingdom of God” (1Co 6:9-10)

C) Comment:

Bergoglio states that: “a Catholic (parliamentary) should vote according to his own conscience“, hastening to add, immediately after, that the conscience must, however, be “well-formed“. Well formed by who? From God the Almighty Father? From His Son? From the Holy Spirit that proceeds from the Father and the Son? Or well-formed in the new doctrine of J.M. Bergoglio? One must ask himself and find the real answer, in Spirit and Truth. The question is neither trivial nor rhetoric. It is sincere, deep, true.

Whenever Bergoglio deals with issues related to the “family”, he always manifests teachings opposed to those manifested by the Holy Spirit in the course of the history of authentic Christianity.

Let’s proceed with order. From the beginning, the Father “male and female He created them” (as it is written in the Book of Genesis). And in Leviticus it is clearly written that homosexuality is wrong, as well as reiterates St. Paul, who says that the “sodomites” and “effeminate” will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Bergoglio, instead, has repeated the phrase he pronounced when returning from Rio de Janeiro, “who am I to judge (gays)“, with which he inaugurated his new approach to the subject “family”. With such teaching Bergoglio subverts and distorts the teachings of God the Father, that in the creation ratified the only form of union wanted by God: that between a man and a woman. Homosexuality is a serious sin in the eyes of God and gays who want to live the Kingdom of God must live in continence, sin no more and to invoke the divine mercy. This must be said in Spirit and Truth for Love of those children.

The nuptial union, consecrated in God, is indissoluble. On this issue Jesus Christ was clear. There are exceptions that are confined as such. The rule is marital fidelity. This must be said clearly. This is the pact of marriage alliance that man and woman promise each another, both humanly and divinely.

No man should dare to separate what God has joined. Instead Bergoglio has dared! Indeed he has dared! He has written, in his own hand, a document (the so-called motu proprio) that allows to more easily undo marriages celebrated in the name of God, totally changing in facts the rule of Jesus, that has sanctioned that the marriage can be dissolved only in one case (the one that in the Gospel is described as “case of concubinage”). Bergoglio instead has decreed that in every diocese, marriages can be dissolved with extreme easiness (Bergoglio gives the example of those who had no faith), then leave to the freedom of conscience of the diocese’s responsible, the cases in which to annul marriages (cf. Bergoglio and cases of nullity of marriage).

Bergoglio’s way to teach and form the consciences is outrageous and anti-Christian. Bergoglio contradicts the teaching of Jesus and of the Holy Spirit. The Christian consciences must be formed in a univocal and defined manner, clearly, following the teachings of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Good is unique, univocal. There cannot be more kinds of “good”. As well as only one is God, so only one is the Good: God the Supreme Good, that manifests in Christ. Truth in Christ is absolute, so that whoever, following Christ and His teachings, is sure to not make mistakes. For this reason, the Father sent His Son, the Christ.

If it would not had been so, different sensitivity of conscience of every human being would have led to different forms of good, to different forms of truth. But there would have been chaos. Everyone would have chosen according to own conscience between good and evil. This is why God the Father has intervened in history by donating His Commandments. This is why, in an unprecedented act of Love, He donated several times His Son. This is the infinite merciful Love of a Father for His own children.

Bergoglio teaches, instead, that there is the good on the basis of one’s own conscience.

Bergoglio says that there is not, even for those who believe, an absolute truth.

Who has the task of forming consciences of Christians MUST say what is good and what is evil according to the teachings of God. The teachings of God cannot be distorted, to form the consciences with other teachings that are not from God. This is the devious deception that is poisoning consciences of many Christians that lose their own essence.

Bergoglio is not worthy of being the spiritual leader of Christians.

The spirit that is in Bergoglio is anti-Christic and contradicts the teachings of Christ and the Holy Spirit in terms of “Family”.

Bergoglio acts as a politician, trying to please everyone: atheists, nonbelievers in general, the lukewarm Christians who let themselves be influenced by what is world. All except true Christians!

The true Christians instead of finding in Bergoglio a father, a support, they find in Bergoglio their spiritual executioner; they find who spiritually kills and betrays the expectations of his children. These considerations are the result of very specific facts that Bergoglio has recently manifested during the demonstrations in Italy in defense of the family wanted by God (cfr. Family day on one side, Bergoglio on the other: “No human condition may be reason of exclusion“; and also “no to Family day, yes to divorced people”).

The family must be loved, supported, educated. Consciences are not well formed by saying that in family you can get to arguing throwing dishes, on condition that after you will make peace. This is a sneaky and deceptive teaching. Certain gestures leave their mark and are likely to wreck everything, like throwing dishes between spouses, which for many is an inconceivable thing. A father who cares about his children should tell them to not bicker at all, if they want to be holy as holy is the Father that is in Heaven.

One must return to let the divine rule be loved and appreciated, in its essence and substance, instead of talking always of the exception or of the remedy to be implemented after being wrong, after having committed sin, as if sin is inevitable. This is the insidious poison that is instilled, day after day, in the consciences. A poison that leads to slay the conscience, which are losing the sense of true life in Christ, and are conforming to a life in which sin is the normality.

Bergoglio is slowly but inexorably demolishing the first and fundamental institution that God the Father Almighty has given to humanity and that supports the society: the Family.

The conscience of the true children of God, authentic Christians, must be kept alive and true, “well-formed” in the teaching of the authentic Christian tradition, that in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is and always will be. With Christ, through Christ, in Christ.
