Judas, “poor penitent man”

A)  The text of the speech by J.M.Bergoglio:

What matters to Jesus is a person’s life, not a framework of laws and words: the slaying of Stephen and Joan of Arc, the death of many other innocent people throughout history and even the suicide of Judas remind us of how much harm can be done by “a heart closed to the Word of God, closed to the truth”.
“It saddens me”, ……, “when I read that passage in the Gospel of Matthew, when Judas repented and went to the priests and said ‘I have sinned’, and wanted to give back the silver pieces”. They responded to him: “What is that to us? See to it yourself!”. They had “a closed heart in regard to this poor, penitent man who didn’t know what to do”. They told him: “See to it yourself”. Thus Judas “went and hanged himself”. Then, “what did they do when Judas hanged himself? They spoke and said: ‘poor man’”. Those 30 pieces of silver then, “are blood money, and cannot enter the temple”. In essence, they were “the learned scribes” and so they followed “this rule, this one, this one, this one…”.
To them, ……, “a person’s life wasn’t important”, nor was “Judas’ remorse: the Gospel says that he repented and returned”. But to them what mattered was “only their framework of laws and the many words and the many things that they had built” (Homily, Casa Santa Marta, April 11, 2016)

B) References to Scriptures:

When he found that Jesus had been condemned, then Judas, his betrayer, was filled with remorse and took the thirty silver pieces back to the chief priests and elders saying, ‘I have sinned. I have betrayed innocent blood.’ They replied, ‘What is that to us? That is your concern.’ And flinging down the silver pieces in the sanctuary he made off, and went and hanged himself. The chief priests picked up the silver pieces and said, ‘It is against the Law to put this into the treasury; it is blood-money” (Mat 27:3-6)

C) Comment:

Only Bergoglio could define Judah a “poor repentant man”.

But really Judah never repented in front of Jesus. If he sincerely would have, with a truly contrite heart, he would have been saved. But not having repented before Jesus, Judas is damned for eternity.

Why does Bergoglio, on one hand, cite the words of the Gospel “to the letter” (manipulating the authentic meaning) while, on the other side, constantly attacks those who want to remain faithful to the Gospel “to the letter”? Because Bergoglio is a liar and uses two weights and two measures, in order to carry out his plan to destroy true Christianity.

Bergoglio exploits the words of the Sacred Scriptures always to the detriment of Jesus and His Friends but always in favor of the traitors and enemies of Christ. So, those who are animated by the evil spirit, wanting to win over the Truth, try to defend those who are animated by the same evil spirit. Traitors join forces to prevail but only and only the Truth will always win.

Only Bergoglio could have the courage, in his subtle and insidious language, to define Judas “poor repentant man”. Bergoglio, after blaspheming and despising Jesus with all his might (“Jesus made himself like a snake, ugly that makes you sick“), now Bergoglio is pitying Judah.

Bergoglio does not know shame.

The evil spirit always tries to manipulate the truth.

The evil spirit always tries to make things appear the opposite of what they are: he wants to make appear false what is true and true what is false.

The spirit of evil will never prevail over the spirit of Truth, that is Christ. Those who defend Judas, the one who betrayed the Son of God, are not animated by the Spirit of Truth but by an evil spirit. And, as such, they will be sunk into the lake of fire where, for eternity, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
